Carl F. Kendell
has 38 years experience in oil and gas exploration and development, primarily in the Northern Rocky Mountain basins of the western United States. He has been directly involved with the generation and development of successful oil and gas projects in every major basin of the Northern Rockies. His experience also includes evaluation and acquisition of producing and development properties, supervision of wellsite geologic evaluation, and has been involved in almost every aspect of the discovery and development of oil and gas properties. He is a graduate of Weber State University with a B.S. in Geology. He worked as Senior Geologist with MAPCO Inc. in Billings, Montana from 1973 to 1979, was a consulting Petroleum Geologist from 1979 to 1983, and was Chief Geologist and then Exploration Manager with Flying J Oil and Gas in Salt Lake City from 1983 through 2009. He is currently employed as a geologist by Summit Resources LLC in Salt Lake City. Mr. Kendell has been an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists since 1973. He has served as President of the Rocky Mountain Section 1997 to 1998, and as the President of the Utah Geological Association in 2002.
